Had a go on the new board for the first time. What a peice of kit! On the 6.5 I coiuld easily keep up with the slalom boys out practising. It also flew upwind, better than anything I have been on before. Great fun! Once all the kite surfers came out I decided to carry the kit back over to the harbour (slalom racing at the top of the beach, freestyle in the middle and kites at the bottem - not much room!) and had to rig the 8.0 as its a bit more shelterd. Board handled it really well but could do with a longer fin (using a 36cm with an 8.0)
